Ambassador Abat Fayzullaev
Abat Fayzullaev was born in Nukus, Uzbekistan on December 30, 1982. He is a career diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Graduate of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy of Tashkent he holds a master's degree in International Relations.
Ambassador Fayzullaev began his career in 2007 at the Head Department of Foreign Policy Analysis and Strategy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Later he became Deputy Head of the same Department. From 2013 to 2018 worked as a first secretary at the Embassy of Uzbekistan to the United States. After a short assignment in the Americas Department of the MFA, he was posted as a Special Assistant of the Minister, Head of Organizational and Inspection Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan from 2019 to 2020.
Abat Fayzullaev served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Austria and Permanent Representative to the OSCE, the UN Office, and other International Organizations in Vienna from August 2020 to October 2023. He was Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Hungary with the residence in Vienna from August 2022 to October 2023.
He serves as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Italian Republic since October 24, 2023.
