During the meeting, the Ambassador noted the new dynamics developing in recent years in relations between Uzbekistan and Italy. It was emphasized that thanks to the efforts of the governments of the two countries, Uzbek-Italian relations have now become active. It was noted that the historical and cultural heritage of our peoples determines the need to intensify the exchange of information, and the signing of the memorandum is intended to become the beginning of long-term cooperation in the media sphere. The document will open up new opportunities for informing the Italian public about the rich historical and cultural heritage and tourism potential of Uzbekistan, large-scale reforms in the country, as well as inform the population of our country, which is very interested in Italy, about the achievements and current life of the Italian people.

Achievements of modern communication technologies expand the possibilities of international cooperation in the information sphere.
According to Marcello Foa, RAI is the leading media institute in Italy for public radio and television services and one of the founders of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). This National Broadcasting Company is present on all platforms with a wide range of free programs differentiated by genre and purpose. It also has 14 digital terrestrial TV channels, 6 of which are available in HD format, and 12 radio channels.
