Azerbaijan recognizes Shavkat Mirziyoyev as Person of the Year
Hyatt Regency hotel in Tashkent hosted a presentation of the special issue of Azerbaijan’s “Tarixi Şəxsiyyətlər” (Historical Persons) magazine dedicated to the recognition of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev as the Person of the Year.
The event was attended by representatives of diplomatic corps in Uzbekistan, including ambassadors of a number of foreign states, representatives of international organizations, relevant ministries and agencies of the country.
The special issue of the international magazine “Tarixi Şəxsiyyətlər”, published in Russian with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan and operating under the embassy of Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev, notes that the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was recognized as the Person of the Year in 2019 for fruitful activities in the name of development of historical traditions, for activities in raising the political and economic authority of the Republic of Uzbekistan on a global scale, as well as for contribution to development of fraternal relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

The event was attended by advisors to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan H. Sultanov, A. Abduvakhidov and R. Kasimov.
